Paul St. Onge utilizes a lively color scheme in this piece, in which the thick application of paint becomes a vibrant character against a black background. The artist situates the viewer above his “Curly Road,” around which a map of the imagination appears to unfold. The design of this piece will inevitably take the viewer on a journey through its intermingling textures, colors, and shapes. This work has been shown at Gallery 297 in Bristol, RI and in a solo show in Exeter, RI.
Paul St. Onge is an outstanding Special Olympian who has won medals in basketball, track and Field, soccer and bicycling. His portfolio may be viewed on the BrennabuArts website. Paul is a member of BrennabuArts, Art League of RI, Saatchi Gallery and the Pawtucket Arts Collaborative.
