Paul St.In this piece St. Onge employs a simple yet vibrant color palette, innovatively combining shape, line, and texture. Textures range from delicate dry brush marks to broad and confident curving strokes in bright orange. This lively piece can be interpreted in various ways – it is up to the viewer to decide whom the “blue eyes” belong to. This work has been shown at Gallery 297 in Bristol, RI and in a solo show in Exeter, RI.
