Description
13" X 16" Acrylic over pencil on Bristol Board.
In the artist’s own words: "When you blend my love of dragons with the Norse Viking painting I'm working on right now you get Degaz (Runic symbol for Fire) which is not only the name of the piece, but also the symbol found under the Dragon.” The warm color palette is not only representative of the subject matter, but is also significant to Guernon. He confesses that “the autumn season has been a heavy influence on the color choices I made.”
Daniel Guernon is a self taught, freelance and published artist who specializes in murals and tattoo design. Daniel’s work has been used on an album cover for California based band: Slave to the Light. Dan is currently working on creating and self publishing his first comic book.
