This is a view of the Charles River and some buildings around it at just before nightfall as seen from my studio at 144 Moody St, Waltham, MA.

Clare Asch was born in Hungary. She came to the United States when she was 8 years old. Clare always loved to paint and draw and went on to study art at the High School of Music and Art and at Cooper Union, both in New York. She later got her MFA at the Art Institute of Boston. Clare teaches art at the New England Institute of Art and at the Pittsburgh Institute of Art.

She has exhibited her paintings at MPG Contemporary, the Brattleboro Museum, the Florence Griswold Museum and most recently in the 8Visions Exhibition at the Attleboro Museum.

Her paintings can be found in numerous private and public collections including that of the City Of Boston.
