Description

16" X 20" Oil

This landscape is interpreted in a soft, impressionistic fashion. Short brushstrokes of color almost give the piece a mosaic effect, effectively simulating the bright, yellowish light which can be experienced in a grassy field. The piece also simulates real-life vision, due to the fact that closer objects – like the evergreen tree and bush – are more distinctly outlined, compared to the blurrier trees and forest in the background.
