Sherry Rhyno paints in oil and pastel en plein air and in her studio.  Sherry holds a BA in English from the University of Massachusetts and did graduate study at Boston University.  Before painting full time, Sherry was the Director of Marketing at UMass Boston.  Sherry has studied with Colleen Vandeventer at her studio in North Attleboro and with K. A. Hartley at the Cape Cod Museum of Art.  She continues to attend art workshops with such noted artists as Robert Carsten and Al Lachman.  Sherry serves on the Board of Director’s of the Pastel Painter’s Society of Cape Cod and is part-owner of Gallery 31 Fine Art in Orleans.  Sherry is also represented by the Sandpiper Gallery in Wellfleet.
