Dorothy Doring, Southern Exposure

(Vocalist Dorthy Doring, a chanteuse specializing in jazz standards with a hint of gritty blues, is a longtime Twin Cites-based favorite. Southern Exposure, recorded in New Orleans, is her sublime new CD on which she's backed by some of the Crescent City's hottest players. It was also listed on the 51st Grammy Entry Nomination Ballot in the category of "Best Jazz Vocal Album.")

JoAnn Funk, Solo Piano
