"Rouge" is the name of this 18" x 24" original oil by Yvette Stenzel.

This work was inspired by a multicolored bouquet of spring anemones of predominantly warm colors, set against a cool turquoise vase. In the artist's words, "As in many of my paintings I am inspired by colors, techniques and moods. While I often start from a true still life or photographic reference I create my own vision, guided by both imagination and spontaneity."
