While painting with friends on a windy, late-summer day – the kind when shelter is needed to keep the easels from blowing over – Christine Bean’s eye was caught by patches of color. Reddish gold and purple grasses echoed in the foliage and a few turning leaves. This work captures the excitement of the colors, and the moving clouds and bending cedars. Christine Bean is represented by the Donovan Gallery, Tiverton Four Corners; Riverside Art, Somerset; Sticks, Stones & Stars, Westport; and the Marion Art Center. She is also a member of the RI Watercolor Society and the American Society of Marine Artists.
