This vibrant still life canvas is an original oil painting from the artist's collection.  Kate Gubbins has been creating beautiful things all her life - starting in the days she cut paper dolls out of the newspaper.

The artist is a member of the Artist's Foundation of Cape Cod and a former member of the Decorative Arts Society.  She describes herself as a painter at heart, though she also occasionally works in fiber and ceramics.
