Lee Alexander works in many media, including watercolors, pastels and oils. This work is made up of pieces of museum-quality paper, painted and assembled on museum board. It represents the marble quarry at PietraSanta, near Florence, in Lee’s native Italy.

Lee's work is seen internationally, with shows in Italy and Puerto Rico. This piece, Quarry PietraSanta, won both Best of Show and the People’s Choice Award at a recent Warwick Art Foundation show. The artist's work is also seen at the Warwick Museum and the Wickford and East Greenwich Art Associations.
