Artist Phil DeSano - a member of the Plein Air Painters of Narragansett Bay, the Wickford Art Association and the Providence Art Club - may be best-known for capturing local scenes around southern New England. But that doesn't mean he's not on the lookout for beauty to capture on canvas when traveling out of the region. This work's title, Cottage in Ireland, is all the evidence necessary to prove our point! The artist was captivated by the scene while traveling in Cork, and created this original oil painting.
