Description

Anne Mimi Sammis' art is motivated by her heartfelt desire to touch, inspire and validate the peace within each one of us, and her belief that love heals all. And that love is evident in this piece, aptly titled Dancing Family of Five. The members of the family literally float in the air in this dramatic bronze sculpture, the first in a series of 25.

Mimi's work is in more than 400 collections worldwide, including the United Nations'. She was commissioned by the Archbishop of Canterbury to create an original work for Queen Elizabeth's Golden Jubilee and it's on permanent display in London.

Look for influences of Rodin and Degas in Mimi's sculpture. She draws inspiration from their work, but brings in her own unique sense of balance and movement.
