Newport artist Richard Grosvenor enjoys painting a variety of subjects, including architectural studies, urban and rural landscapes and New England coastal scenes. Here, he transports us skyward with this original watercolor, Clouds.

Longtime operator of Newport's Spring Bull Studio and Gallery, Richard headed up the Art Department at Newport's St. George's School for 40 years. He paints in oil and watercolor and has had several solo shows here and in New York. A Grosvenor painting of the White House was featured in a calendar commissioned by President and Mrs. Clinton.
