Artist Gail Eckberg of Norfolk, MA, notes that living near the ocean is exciting. "Each Day is entirely different. The color of the water, the tides, the light, the motion - everything." And it's that love of the water that inspired her to create this original watercolor, Leeward - Way of the Wind.

Gail has taught art and is an exhibiting member of the Rhode Island Watercolor Society and the Pastel Painters of Maine. She is affiliated and active with the Wellesley Society of Artists and the Needham and Franklin Art Associations. Her award-winning work is available at the Middleboro and Deer Island (Maine) Art Galleries, as well as her home studio, Galleria of Design.
