This is a beautiful Weimar Germany, German Covered Lidded China Serving Dish.    The top of the inside of the bowl for some reason is not glazed where the lid meets the bowl and has some minor staining due to not being sealed.  However, Weimar always made them this way. No chips, no cracks or crazing.  Perfect for that elegant dinner party.
