The photograph was taken on the island of Maui in the town of Kula.  Kula is a small town in Maui’s upcountry, on the slope of the Haleakala volcano. It is known for its farms, beautiful gardens, and the historic Holy Ghost Catholic Church, built in the 1800’s.
