Description

Since the release of their first wines in 1989, the Gruet Winery has earned an international reputation for producing superb Methode Champenoise sparkling wines from their vineyards in Southern New Mexico. High elevation, unique soil conditions, and a combination of warm, sunny days and cool, high-desert nights provide the perfect growing conditions for Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes, which are handpicked at the optimal midsummer moment to achieve just the right balance of ripe fruit flavors and piquant acidity.

Brilliant with a very fine mousse, this Gruet Brut has wonderful aromas of green apples and citrus with subtle tropical fruit and mineral notes in addition to the classic toastiness of Methode Champenoise sparkling wine. It is crisp and full-bodied on the palate with a rich complexity and a clean, focused, lingering finish. A truly classic style, and the perfect wine to enjoy with a sumptuous feast, a holiday celebration, or any special occasion.
