In early spring, Tammi and I would look out at the Suisun valley with rows of still dormant grapes and the ground covered in mustard, and we would marvel at the beauty.  In the summer, the cover crops would be tilled under and the grape vines would push bright green canes that would dominate the dry California landscape.  I remember talking about how gorgeous the valley looked and we always followed our conversations with - one day.

Well, that one day came true in 1999 when we planted 40 acres of Cabernet Sauvignon.  The vineyard boasts over 30,000 vines that produce approximately 150 tons of grapes per year.  Those grapes have been farmed with the greatest attention to detail and the most contemporary farming methods.  From vineyard to fermentation to barrel we have spared no expense.

As proud Americans we only use American oak.  You'll notice our signature oak flavor the minute you try our wine.  You'll also notice the dark rich color as our wine is produced from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon of the hillside portion of Tammi's vineyard.  This rolling bench portion of the estate was chosen for its soil content and rich flavor of the fruit.  Total production is limited to 300 cases.  This wine will age well for many years, or if you prefer you can decant the wine, allow it to breath and enjoy it now to the fullest!
