You are bidding on Two (2) bottles of King Andrews Vineyards Suisun Valley 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon. First on sale at the Suisun Valley Wine Cooperative on Sunday November 22nd. This writer personally tasted this beautiful Cab at the Vineyard home of the Winemaker, Roger King. You are in for a delicious and delightful artisan wine.
Winemaker's Tasting Notes: This Suisun Valley Cabernet Sauvignon comes from the eastern side of mid valley and reflects notes of dark berry fruit combined with mocha, hints of coffee and fine grained tannins. While still very young it will mature nicely over the next 2-5 years. 89% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Petit Verdot, 3% Merlot.
You can become a Friend of this Suisun Valley Artisan Winery, talk directly to the winemaker and even be invited to private tastings! Roger is also the President of the Suisun Valley Grape Growers and Vintners Association and is very knowledgeable. You'll learn a lot and enjoy the experience. Go to:

First bottlings of Syrah began in 2003. As a small boutique ultra premium and luxury class producer of Suisun Valley wines the direction is to style approachable wines that can be accompanied by foods and stand alone as an evening beverage. Fruit for each wine comes from vineyards primarily in the Suisun Creek drainage that encompass both Suisun Valley AVA and portions of the Southeastern Napa Valley AVA hills. Wines can be tasted at the Suisun Valley Wine Cooperative, Friday, Saturday, Sunday noon to 5PM.
Special Instructions
- Must be 21 years of age to bid or pick up the wine.
- Pick up your certificate of win at the Solano Community College Foundation Office in Building 600, or arrange for it to be mailed at 707-864-7177, between December 2nd and December 18th 2009.
- You may pick up your wine at the Suisun Valley Wine Cooperative, 4995 Suisun Valley Road, Suisun Valley, CA 94534 after December 2nd, 2005.
