You and two of your guests will meet City of Dixon Mayor, Jack Batchelor, for lunch in downtown Dixon at Bud's Pub and Grill.

Mayor Jack Batchelor

Mayor Batchelor and his wife Mary Lou have resided in the City of Dixon since 1981.  Mayor Batchelor and his wife have been married 42 years and they have two adult children, Jack, III and Allison and two granddaughters.  Mayor Batchelor retired from the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation with the rank of Facility Captain. 

Mayor Batchelor was elected to the position of Mayor in November, 2008 and was previously elected to the City Council in 2006.  Mayor Batchelor has been an active member of his community since moving his family to Dixon from Salinas, California.  Mayor Batchelor served 12 years as a member of the Dixon Unified School District Board of Trustees, Two terms as President, Dixon Rotary Club, Two terms as President of the Dixon Chamber of Commerce and seven years as a member and Chairman of the Sutter Davis Hospital Foundation.  Mayor Batchelor was selected as the Dixon Citizen of the Year for 2002Mayor Batchelor is a graduate of Chico State University and received his Master of Science degree from San Francisco State University.
