Description
This one-of-a-kind teabowl was created by Masakasu Kusakabe, Internationally Famous Japanese Artist Sculptor and Potter. Kusakabe has been an Artist in Residence, SCC Honorary Faculty Member. Kusakabe has been collaborating with SCC Prof. Marc Lancet for many years, and created this teabowl during a visit to campus May 2009.
Special Instructions
Featuring Kusakabe's signature brushwork, this teabowl is about 4"x4". In Japan teabowls such as this sell for hundreds of dollars, as ceramics is regarded as a high form of art. Proceeds from this sale benefit the ceramic department at SCC.
