I am a reading tutor in West Roxbury, and I am offering 3 reading lessons to a child who needs help with phonics, who reads at OR BELOW a second grade level, who is not allergic to cats, and who is able to come to my home office for the lessons. I have an M.Ed. in Reading Education and a B.A. in English, summa cum laude. I have been trained in 3 phonics methods: Phono-Graphix, Lindamood, and O.G. I primarily use Phono-Graphix, as I believe it's the most effective. Now that I'm in private practice, I charge just $35.00 per hour (though of course you wouldn't be paying me for the 3 lessons you won throught his auction). I use lots of games, toys, and children's own stories for a child-friendly approach.
