Published by Pappy's Boys, this 205-page hardcover book is the autobiographic story of the lives of fifty-nine of the participants on the 1948, 1949 and 1950 University of California Rose Bowl Teams.
Edited by Sport's Illustrated's Ron Fimrite, there are introductory presentations by Clark Kerr, Glenn Seaborg, Paul Christopulos, Eggs Manske and the Waldorf daughters, Mary Louise Osborne and Carolyn Pickering. Thirty-four pages of photos are included and feature the teams, coaches, All-Americans and action of Cal's back-to-back-to-back champions.
Also included is an appendix which lists the statistical records of the three teams, those players who have been inducted to various Halls of Fame, the All-Americans as well as a complete roster of all the players from the 1947-56 seasons.
