Up to two people can join CNC Naturalist Tom Lenon on his 17-foot fishing boat for a five-hour (or until limited out) walleye fishing trip on the Saginaw Bay. As a son of a fish biologist and having always had a love for the outdoors, Tom grew up as an avid fisherman and has over 30 years of fishing on the Great Lakes. This trip also provides a great opportunity to just get out and experience the Bay, relax and learn about its natural history and ecology. Proposed date: Tuesday, May 18, 6:30 – 11:30 a.m. (Since fishing the Bay is weather dependent, alternative dates and times may need to be worked out.) All fishing equipment and bait is provided. Fishing licenses (not included in package) are required for those 17 years or older. One day licenses are available.
