KXCI's Studio 2A has hosted Los Lobos. Ani DiFranco. Michael Franti. Josh Rouse, Steve Earle, Laura Love... and now it can play host to your Tucson-based band.

The winning bidder will receive 3 hours of recording time engineered by our own music director, Duncan Hudson, a veteran recording engineer who has helmed many of the station's Live in Studio 2A and Locals Only broadcasts. 

This is the perfect gift for, or to, that Tucson band or musician, new or established, looking to get a few tracks down. Whether you are already out performing, or hoping too, this session will help you get a leg up on a musical career.

Please note: The 3-hour session includes load-in, sound check and tear-down. Actual recording time will vary. One evening session, or Saturday afternoon session, on a mutually agreed upon date, December 2009-April 2010. Also note - recording session does not guarantee airplay on KXCI; determinations on the suitability of music for airplay are made on an individual basis within the context of the quality of the music.
