David Fitzsimmons is the Political Cartoonist for The Arizona Daily Star where he's drawn fire and cartoons since 1986.

A Graduate of the University of Arizona, Fitzsimmons was a Pulitzer Prize Finalist in 1988. He's won countless awards including the Arizona Press Club's 1st place award for cartooning every year since 2000. He is also a one-time opener for Mark Russell.

Fitzsimmons is a member of the Sweatlodge Comedy Troupe and the former President of the Tucson Press Club.
