This heavily illustrated book/CD set presents dozens of age-graded instrument-construction projects for teachers, parents, and others working with children. All of the instruments are easy to build, and the cost of building them is very low. Many are constructed entirely of free, commonly available materials, and the rest use both free and common, cheap materials (such as nuts and bolts). The author also describes how all of the instruments should be played, and the audio CD provides charming illustrations of that playing.
