Welcome to the Hoff House, your Iron Horse Neighborhood Wellness Center.

The Hoff House is a massage space, resurrected from the steely bones of a 1905 railroad bungalow. The atmosphere is down-home and comfortable. The experience is peaceful and rejuvenating. In addition, The Hoff House is within walking distance of the shops and restaurants of the eclectic 4th Ave and downtown Tucson districts.

The Hoff House officially opened in November of 2008 with the purpose of enriching the health and wellness of the community. We are striving to achieve this essential goal through a number of interwoven paths, beginning with ensuring our easy accessibility in terms of the feel of our familial charm inside and out. We could be your great auntie’s house, or your artsy friend’s abode. We want that you feel welcome enough to linger long past your appointment.

And by appointment we mean massage. Our mission is to provide quality massage and bodywork rather than quantity. We ensure this not only with our casual and homey environment, but also by giving ample space between treatments for the health and experience of both our clients and our therapists.

We also seek to reach our goal by supporting other local organizations in a neighborhood that has accepted us with easy encouragement since our inception.

Lastly, but not least importantly, in our everyday activities at The Hoff House, we do well to sustain and refresh the plot of land on which our facility grows. Whether through our group composting site outback, the display and use of our up-cycled and Bicus-made bike racks—glistening in our yard like bright metal flowers, or by reclaiming the disinterred rebar of the original 4th Ave underpass for our eye-catching fence, we are happy to be maintaining and enhancing the sun-baked heart of our beloved downtown Tucson.

So come in, kick off your shoes, brew yourself a cup of tea and lounge on the couch. Nest in the hammock out back, or curl up on the front porch in the shade of our orange trees, like our neighborhood felines.

Our massage and body-work will teach you how to listen to your inner-self and unwind, and The Hoff House will give you the time and space to practice.
