One of the easiest ways that we can all help is by taking reusable grocery bags when we shop for groceries. At sustainable bags, Tim and I have been doing our best to walk our talk and always remember our bags. Honestly, sometimes we forget to bring our totes out of the car or house, but we still won't take plastic bags! We just reload our shopping cart with our items, put them in the car (or bike) and unpack them when we reach our destination. Sometimes the aggravation helps us to remember them the next time!

Don't forget, you can bring your reusable tote bag to all the different types of stores you visit. Bring them to the convenience stores, pharmacy, shopping malls. BEFORE the clerk packs their paper or plastic bags tell them: "I have my own reusable bags, and I never take paper or plastic". You'll be teaching by your great example.
