Katie Badgett began baton twirling when she was five years old.  She performed and competed in solo and group events all across the country.  She even taught baton and dance for seven years before becoming a teacher at Sunnyslope.

During the lesson, the basics of baton twirling will be covered, such as twirls, rolls and different types of tosses. After that, a short routine will be learned.  The winner of the bid may also choose up to 4 friends to take the class with them.
