Description

The smell of baking bread as you step into the house is an aroma that evokes emotions of comfort, safety and home.

Few would dispute that a loaf of homemade bread is like nothing else.  When it comes to wholesome and nutritious whole grain breads, there is  nothing as good for you.  But - you say "I don't know the moves, I don't know where to begin.  I don't know what the dough should look and feel like, it's all very mysterious and intimidating!"

Overcome yeast anxiety forever with this class on basic yeast bread.  Plunge your hands into the dough and learn to mix and knead bread that is successful every time.  Bake your own yeast bread, learn shaping techniques, and understand how different ingredients affect the outcome of your loaves.

The class for four participants will ensure everyone can get the personal attention they need.  The class will last about five hours and include a light lunch or supper.  We will bake a hearty white, a whole grain dark loaf, and a sample of my sweet dough sticky buns.

Besides the bread you make, you will take home the recipe for baking more, as well as much of my knowledge about bread from 25 years of baking.

This is a Live Event Item.
