$1000 Gift Certificate toward a child or adult oil pastel or oil portrait.   Prices start at $2450 for a pastel and $2950 for an oil painting.  Can be head and shoulders, 3/4 view (seated or standing) or full length.

Award-winning artist Sonia Hale is a graduate of Colby College, where she majored in English and Art.  She studied at the New York Art Students’ League, as well as at the Copley Society in Boston with renowned artist Everett Raymond Kinstler, a second-generation student of John Singer Sargent.  

She also studied with Michael Shane Neal of Nashville, Tennessee—one of today’s premier portrait artists, Robert Cormier, Richard Whitney and the master pastel portrait artist, Constance Flavell Pratt.

Sonia Hale’s work has been recognized by numerous competitions, including the Art Guild of Manhasset, New York’s 2008 Portrait Competition and Exhibition and the Wellesley Society of Artists' 2004 Exhibition.

Ms. Hale is a member of the Portrait Society of America, Oil Painters of America, Allied Artists of America, the Connecticut Society of Portrait Artists and the Wellesley Society of Artists, and her work hangs in private collections throughout the United States.
