One look at the high res photos will confirm what you are bidding on.  Only one end of the piece has been removed revealing a small hollow world of black and white crystals.  

From Brazil like our other geological anomaly, the “Amethyst Geode”, the top is also coated with crystals and this makes a fantastic display item for a desk, mantel, or anywhere that needs a special touch.
