iD TECH CAMPS- Summer Tech Fun at Universities!

TEEN ACADEMIES (2-week immersive programs for ages 13-18):

iD Gaming Academy 

Ages 13-18 immerse in the dynamic world of video game development and choose one of four courses: Modeling & Animation with Maya®, Programming for Game Consoles, Level Design - Unreal® Engine 3 or Flash® Scripting for Web Games.  Students also participate in late-night gaming tournaments and tour a local game studio.  Graduates leave with a gaming portfolio and the tools to excel in the game development field. 

 iD Programming Academy 

Ages 13-18 learn from top instructors and interact with industry professionals and/or NASA researchers in this 2-week immersive programming academy. Teens choose from one of three course: iPhone® App Development, Facebook® App Development and C++ Programming and Rocket Science.  Students bridge the gap between writing code in the lab and watching functions come to life in the real world.  By the end of the two-week program, students will collaborate with other student programmers and ultimately debut their code. 

 iD Visual Arts Academy

For two weeks, ages 13-18 choose from one of three courses: Film Production with Apple Final Cut Studio®, Professional Photography and Professional Web Design. All graduates leave with a portfolio and the tools to excel in the rapidly changing field of visual arts.  Students go on fun, supervised excursions and visit nearby studios to see how the pros work.

Terms & Conditions:
* Certificates valid for the 2010 season only.
* Certificate is available for ages 7– 18 (iD Tech Camps) and ages 13-18 (Teen Academies).
* Must follow the directions on the certificate in order to save $200.
* Camp registration is based on availability.
* Not available at the Columbia University (NY) location.
