Our class project celebrates a key accomplishment of the 2nd grade: becoming confident readers!  Curling up with a good book and sitting on a comfy chair with a pillow both decorated by our budding artists, the winner of this auction item will enjoy a legacy of good books in their library and wonderful memories of being in Mrs. Folsom's 2nd grade class!  Books included:  The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein; Many Moons by James Thurber and Louis Slobodkin (Illustrator) [a Caldecott Award winning book] and The Hans Wilhelm Treasury of Jokes by Joseph Rosenbloom.
