A bottle of 2007 Clos Pegase Carneros Chardonnay from Mitsuka's Vineyard.

This very richly colored yellow Chard opens with a spicy ripe pear like bouquet with a hint of lemon. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and slightly viscous. It also shows gentle acidity throughout. The flavor profile is a blend of apple and apricot with nicely integrated toasted oak. The finish is dry, a bit tingly, and refreshing.
