Enjoy one week in this beautiful Vieques Island house.  Vieques Island is located midway between Puerto Rico and St. Thomas.  This oceanfront property, La Joya del Mar, is simply but functionally equipped, with an open, beach house atmosphere.  Steps from the beach, the house has sweeping views of the Atlantic, Culebra and Puerto Rico from its many generous verandas. 

The Main House and "Tower" (connected by a veranda) together have three bedrooms and three bathrooms, plus two sleeping couches (and a well-stocked library) in the living room.  This home can sleep 6-8 comfortably, and is ideal for three couples or two families with children.  There are four large verandas for sunning, reading, and playing.   The kitchen is large and has a commercial stove, microwave, blender, coffee maker, toaster and a full complement of cooking equipment.  Off the kitchen is a laundry room with a washer and dryer, and a linen closet that is generously stocked with beach towels and bed linens.  To top it off, the home is surrounded by a stone wall, allowing for complete privacy.
