Adventurous lobster lovers, this one's for you!  Your family's adventure begins with a two-night, September weekend stay at the luxurious Samoset Resort in Rockport, Maine.  On Saturday, spend a half-day with 4th-generation lobsterman, Ryan Post, on board his 40-foot lobster boat, touring the coast of Penobscott Bay.  As you set and haul traps, you'll learn all about the Maine lobstering industry, and how Maine lobstermen are some of the earliest conservationists of the sea. Before heading back to the mainland, you'll tour a private island that has been in Ryan's family for over 300 years.   But it doesn't end there!  Ryan will bring your "catch" to The Boathouse Restaurant in Rockland, where they'll cook up the lobsters you hauled in earlier in the day for a delicious harborside dinner.  During your weekend, enjoy a $50 gift certificate for either breakfast (served all day) or lunch at the award-winning Home Kitchen Cafe in Rockland (gotta get there early for a famous "sticky" or "sinny"!).
