The art of the Chinese scroll painting dates back at least 4,000 years.  Elegant lines created by special brushes and inks, this art form is considered by many people as the highpoint of aesthetics during the cultural history of China civilization.  A beautiful example of this art in a classic decorative box is up for bid.
