Have you heard?  Rock band Green Day wasn’t satisfied with their Grammy Awards...now they want a Tony!  Broadway’s American Idiot follows a group of disgruntled young suburbanites as they strike out into the world searching for the ever-elusive meaning of life.  In addition to Billie Joe Armstrong and the band, the show boasts a Tony Award-winning creative team: composer/orchestrator Tom Kitt (Next to Normal) and  co-writer/director Michael Mayer (Spring Awakening).
