Theodore Roosevelt was the 26th President of the United States and the only born-and-bred New Yorker to head up the Oval Office.  Join PH Patron and docent Russel Ferschleiser for a private tour of Roosevelt’s Birthplace, a classic Victorian home reconstructed on East 20th Street where Teddy spent the first 14 years of his life.  The Roosevelt family donated many original artifacts to the home, and two gallery rooms highlight the achievements, challenges, and public adoration of this unique American president, including a collection of the cartoon drawings he inspired.
