A DEVELOPING STORY

Be a part of Playwrights Horizons history as you join our illustrious musical theater department for a day.  This is the birthplace of beloved musicals such as Sunday in the Park with George, Assassins, Once on This Island, and Grey Gardens.  With an exciting new fund dedicated entirely to producing and developing new musicals, and a fantastic new musical—The Burnt Part Boys—about to open on the Mainstage, this is definitely the place to be if you want your finger on the pulse of what’s happening in musical theater.  Learn how to read and evaluate a script, attend a developmental reading, sit in as the experts weigh in on new work, and bring all your burning questions for our talented PH literary staff.   Think of it as a super-intensive, ridiculously low-priced post-grad literary education, and all your tuition goes to a good cause: making more musicals!  After all, the best is yet to come.
