Description

Every Picture Tells a Story, Don't It?

Have a memorable story from your life?  Give it the public radio treatment with an audio portrait by Yarn AudioWorks.  Underscoring music and sound effects will bring your personal testimony to life.  You will receive a CD copy and full transcript of your story and (at the discretion of Yarn AudioWorks) an airing on its web site.  In fact, the piece that was produced for last year's auction winner was licensed by WILL-AM and aired in January!  (Check it out!)

The work of Yarn AudioWorks, the audio production unit of Eric Winick, has been heard on public radio stations from Seattle to Vermont.  Mr. Winick's documentary (co-produced with Jay Allison) "How Are You Who You Are?" appeared on WBEZ/Chicago Public Radio in July 2009.  A shorter version, "The Crossdressing Family Man from Down the Block," appeared on NPR's "All Things Considered" in November 2008.

Go ahead, share your story with the world.

Special Instructions

Winner must live in NYC metro area and attest, in writing, to willingness to share story publicly.  Will be arranged at a mutually convenient time for the winner and Mr. Winick.
