Jake McGuire is known for his striking photos of Washington, DC Over the last 25 years he has taken thousands of pictures of Washington, DC, creating one of the largest collections of photographs of our Nation's Capital.  In March of 1992 McGuire received an Arts America grant from the United States Information Agency to give lectures abroad.  In April of 1997LIFE Magazine selected one of McGuire's photos for the cover of a special edition of LIFE.  In January of 2001 and 2004 the Presidential Inaugural Committee selected his photos for use in the official inaugural programs and guidebooks.
