ARTIST STATEMENT

“Tracks of Time”:  During the years 2000 and 2001, I began an artist’s photographic investigation of marks made both by Man and Nature on stone, earth, metal, even water, in both foreign and home lands.  The series is still ongoing but some photographs have been translated into transfer prints on fine art paper.  Prints in this auction are from standing stones near Licksby, Sweden.  They give evidence of the interface between Man and Nature where both leave traces no matter the erosion of time and providence.
