A print done in 1948 by the well-known Chesapeake nautical artist, Louis Feuchter. This print is from the collection of the Mariner's Museum in Newport News, Va.  29"x22.5". Print is in muted, sepia tones. No matting or frame with it.

The Mattie Dean was a schooner built in 1884 in Madison Md. and seen working the waters of the Chesapeake throughout the 1900's.  Donor, Aimee Wise, personally knew the last owner of the Mattie Dean.
