Description

A 22-1/2" x 26" framed photograph of auto part, found in truck salvage center. The photograph was featured in many jurried shows and received a Merit Award in the Arts & Design exhibit in Ft. Walton Beach, FL. The artist, Ruth Gogel, is a long-time photographer and UUCA member.

"Kilroy's Cousin" refers to the mythical person Kilroy popularized during WWII. The phrase "Kilroy was here" appears to have originated through United States servicemen, who would draw the doodle and the text "Kilroy Was Here" on the walls or elsewhere they were stationed, encamped, or visited.
