The winning bidder and five friends will join Mr. Hawes on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 as he leads science experiments MythBusters style.  Just as on the show, Mr. Hawes will do more than explain how something may or may not be scientifically possible.  He will guide you through trial and error to actually demonstrate it!

This after school session will focus on the "Forces of Flight".  You will pilot your own helicopter, race a rocket, learn how planes steer themselves, and receive a flight lesson from a bubble.  Each student will receive their own Mythbusters science kit - an afternoon that is sure to be great fun!  This experience is appropriate for kids from grades 2-7.
