Truffles, Foie Gras, and Your Own Villa in the Perigord

Item Number: 174
Time Left: CLOSED

Description
Escape to your own private retreat in the French countryside during truffle season with this luxurious package. Located in the heart of the Périgord, the center of foie gras production and France's black truffle market, Le Presbytère is a beautiful 17th century, fully-restored, four-bedroom estate. The house stands high on a rock above the village of Ste Mondane, overlooking the graceful river Dordogne. You and up to 7 guests will enjoy a week-long stay in Le Grand Maison, where you can spend your days relaxing in front of one of the home's many fireplaces, cooking in one of the two gourmet kitchens, or playing billiards in the statuesque former chapel. Nearby is the renowned truffle and foie gras town of Sarlat, which means you'll surely find both delicacies on the menus of local restaurants and bistros.
